Experience Your Journey
River Journey has been providing self-guided trips on the Stanislaus River for over 30 years. Our family-friendly float trips are relaxing, gorgeous, and a great way to spend a day on the water with friends and family. Our trips are roughly 7 miles in length, and take most groups between 3.5-5 hour to complete. Our trips start in Knights Ferry, California. Trips include paddles, life jackets, 8-person rafts, photos of your group going through the class II rapids at the beginning of the trip, and a shuttle ride back to your car at the end of your rafting day. Reservations are required, so please book your trip online or by calling us at 209-847-4671.
About River Journey Adventures
Our aim is to make sure you and your group have everything you need for a great day out on the water. We try to make planning and logistics easy for you and your group, while allowing you to bring things like food and drinks in an ice chest so that you can create the perfect day for friends and family. We’ve been doing this since the 80’s, so feel free to give us a call if you want some more info about how to make your day as fun as possible on the Stanislaus!

Age 5+ (All Ages)
At normal flows, kids 5 and up can participate in our rafting trips, and ages 10 and up can participate in our kayaking trips!
